How to buy?
In order to browse and buy books you need to register an account on Student Texbooks Online.

Register:
Registration is easy and only takes a few seconds. 

Either click on the 'View Account' or 'Log in/Register'  located on the home page. This will direct you to the registration form.

Search the site:
Search the site either by;

Browsing the categories listed on the homepage in order to see what Student Texbooks Online has to offer. Select any subject category  in order to browse the relevant books in the section.

Searching; which is more precise. To look for a specific book, type the name  of the book or a keyword that best describes the book into the search box and press 'enter'. A list of items that match your search will appear. 

To purchase a book:
To purchase a book, you can buy it instantly, by selecting  the ’Add to cart’ option. This will guide you through a series of processes in order to arrive at the checkout. You are required to open a Paypal account (See below for more information). Please note that Postage & Packaging charges are INCLUDED in the item price.

Pay for an Item: 
The easiest way to pay for an item is to use the Student Texbooks Online's checkout process used in conjunction with Paypal (Paypal account required. Follow this link; http://www.paypal.co.uk/uk), which will subsequently send your payment and postal information to the seller.  .

How to sell?
If you are not an existing member of Student Texbooks Online, you can either click on the 'View Account' or 'Log in/Register'  located on the home page. This will direct you to the  registration form.

If you are an existing member then you need to log into the site using the method as described above but instead complete the form ‘I am a returning customer’.
 
To start, log into your Student Textbooks Online account and select the ‘Sell’ on the panel located on the left hand side of the screen. Follow the instructions on how to list the book including uploading an image, adding a description and price you would like to set.  When somebody has purchased your item, you will receive an email generated automatically by the system outlining the address that you must post the item to.

Will I be charged to sell?
No. Listing costs are free. But all we ask for is a 20% + 20p commission (taken before postage & packaging is added) which has been included in the selling price set by you. A PayPal account is needed and can be set up for free within minutes. Your card details are only stored on your Paypal account and are never shared with the seller and it allows you to send payment immediately. The faster the seller receives payment, the faster you'll receive your item!
